Our engineered crane designs provide compliant crane solutions for the utmost safety and efficiency on worksites. At Team Overhead Crane Services Ltd., we provide turn-key overhead crane systems that meet Alberta Health and Safety (OH&S Part 6, Section 93-95 Overhead Cranes) regulations, Canadian Standards Association (CSA Group – CSA Standard CAN/CSA-B167-9 (2007)), and all of our cranes come stamped and certified by APEGA-registered engineers. Installing a new crane or modernizing cranes already in service requires the best overhead crane manufacturing company to strictly follow all set guidelines by the government and manufacturer’s manuals. Crane Manufacturing & Fabrication Services

With Team Overhead Crane Services Ltd.’s crane consulting services, you’ll have an engineer-certified custom crane system installed competently, efficiently and ready for service in no time and on budget. 

Standard Overhead Cranes

Bridge cranes – commonly known as overhead cranes – function exactly as they sound. They have a moving bridge that runs along two parallel tracks, running overhead of your facility or production floor. A lifting system – such as hoists or open winches – is connected to the bridge allowing various load lifting capabilities. The bridge cranes we install have either top-running or under-running end tracks, each designed for your site-specified requirements. The load lifting capacity varies for overhead cranes that are single vs double girder or top vs under running. 

Gantry Overhead Cranes

Gantry cranes are ideal for outdoor applications because they move and lift loads at high speed and capacity. Full gantry cranes are typically installed at the floor or ground level spanning the full width of a workshop however, semi-gantry cranes are designed with one runway elevated for applications not required to cover larger areas. Outdoor gantry cranes can conveniently be installed with a lattice structure – reduced surface area - for increased wind resistance and optimizes power for long-travel movement. In Alberta, installing cranes outdoors must consider our drastic weather patterns for optimal crane operation, safety, and functionality.

Jib Overhead Cranes

Workspaces requiring lifting equipment for small to medium-sized loads – 1/4-ton to 5-ton – we install jib cranes. Industrial jib crane installations extend reach for larger lifts with their free-standing and column-mounted solutions. Jib cranes are extremely customizable making them perfect for versatile applications that don’t require the installation of a full-sized overhead crane. Wall jib cranes are ideal for lightweight lifts conveniently mounted on the wall directly within reach for individual workstations. For lifting light to medium loads we install column jib cranes allowing easy maneuverability between multiple workstations. Jib cranes are best known for their rotational range – 108°, 270°, 350°, or 360° - that is easily controlled from a fixed panel, movable panel, or a radio-controlled system.

Crane Flap Door Systems

Utilizing a custom crane for indoor and outdoor purposes can be made easy by installing a crane door system – commonly referred to as flap door overhead cranes, overhead craneway doors, and overhead door hoists and flaps. Crane door systems allow overhead cranes to run loads seamlessly from inside the shop to the outdoor yard. No more cumbersome transitions from indoor overhead cranes to flat deck trucks and back to your outdoor crane – such as a gantry or magnet crane. 

Magnet Overhead Cranes

Magnet crane solutions are ideal for moving steel – curved, flat, bundled rods, rebar, and more – for manufacturing, warehousing, and preparing materials or products for transport. Our custom magnet crane installation services efficiently prepare your facility for remote and safe crane operation. Magnet cranes provide versatility for use indoors and during outdoor applications in harsh or extreme weather conditions. Custom configurations make magnet cranes an ergonomic design for crane operator comfort, safety, and accuracy.
